Our scar therapy is based on the Liedler Concept:
Treatment of the tissue layers
Treatment of the superficial AND deep tissue layers of the scar to prevent false postures, improve mobility and increase the body’s sense of well-being.
AFTER LAPAROSCOPY OR LAPAROTOMY in the abdominal area, such as caesarean section, hysterectomy, endometriosis surgery, gall bladder surgery, appendectomy, adhesiolysis, etc.
AFTER FRACTURES with surgical treatment
AFTER LIGAMENT OPERATIONS , KNEE ATROCOPIES etc.
AFTER BIRTH INJURIES such as perineal lacerations, episiotomies or vaginal injuries
Scars are often NOT CONFLICTING WHERE THE SCAR ACTUALLY IS, but show up as CHRONIC PAIN somewhere else in the body.
Particularly deep scars after abdominal surgery or accidents, birth injuries such as perineal tear or incision, or vaginal injuries usually leave other marks as well.
WHAT CAN THIS BE?
Shortness of breath, breathing difficulties (only superficial, no deep abdominal breathing possible any more)
Temporomandibular joint problems, reduced mouth opening, cracking sound
Persistent tension in shoulders and shoulder girdle
Back pain in the thoracic spine
Neck tension
Headache
Back pain (lumbar spine)-feeling of „breaking off and not being able to move“.
Frequent, sudden tearing of the spine
ISG (sacroiliac joint) pain, ISG blockages
Sciatic pain
Stiff pelvis, reduced pelvic mobility
Hip pain
Knee pain (usually increased on the side of the operation)
Trigger points and ipsilateral pain, where more adhesions are present
No longer able to sleep on the stomach
Bladder problems (pressure on the bladder, incontinence, „smaller bladder“, having to go to the toilet often, residual urine remains in the bladder)
Period pains, PMS
Pain during sexual intercourse
Recurring, pulling pain with movement and exertion
After surgery in the upper thorax or neck area (e.g. thyroid gland)
Neck tension
Back pain in the thoracic spine
Thoracic tension
Temporomandibular joint complaints – clicking
Lifting the arm is difficult (usually on one side)
Support before and after a surgery
3 things are in the focus here:
BODY CHECK-UP
This means that the more mobile and relaxed the body is – in general and with a focus on the surgical area – the better the chances of complication-free wound healing with fewer adhesions.
BREATHING TRAINING
With correct breathing it is possible to positively influence the wound healing and swelling process.
INSTRUCTION
You will learn what you can do directly after the surgery to prevent adhesions. What to avoid, and which movements are definitely already allowed, and what to watch out for. Tips and tricks in addition to the medical discussion.
SCAR CHECK
Find out if your scar and possible associated adhesions have a negative influence on the rest of your body!
Why? Operations leave adhesions in the scar area. These prevent the body from adapting to new stresses. Over time, this can lead to chronic tension and pain.
YOUNG SCARS
At every stage it is possible to support the wound healing process with body therapy. In the beginning mainly to balance the tension in the body and to create an approach to the scar.
OLD SCARS WITHOUT AGE LIMITS
Later, to stimulate older and old scars (even after 30 years!) with their histories, fascial and peritoneal adhesions with targeted manual, techniques according to the Liedler Concept to restructure themselves.
